Phir Hera Pheri 3 is a 2017 Indian Hindi language Comedy film written and directed by Indra Kumar. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Bobby Deol, Kunal Kemmu and Zarina Wahab in the lead roles with Mithun Chakraborty as the main antagonist. This is a sequel to Phool Aur Kaante (1996) and Hera Pheri (2000). It reunites the original cast of the two films, although most of the actors are new to the franchise. Akshay Kumar, who is also being billed as "The Most Popular Actor in Bollywood," takes on a new role. It is directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films and Vishesh Films. The film released on 13 March 2017 and received negative reviews from critics though it managed to gross 300 crore worldwide. The film won Akshay Kumar his 3rd Filmfare Award for Best Comedian and Paresh Rawal won his 2nd Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor (Male). Aaj Ka Milaada (Akshay Kumar) is a conman who, along with his partners in crime, Chulbul Pandey (Paresh Rawal), Majnu (Bobby Deol) and Pappi (Kunal Kemmu), has been defrauding numerous people. On the day of his daughter's wedding, he is arrested by the police due to various fraud cases filed against him. He is granted bail and decides to turn over a new leaf in life. With this aim in mind he takes up a job selling water purifiers and meets with wealthy Chief Minister Jai Kishan (Dharmendra). Later, at his daughter's wedding, he shows up with a fake marriage certificate stating that he has married his long-time sweetheart Seema (Kunal Kemmu). Much to everyone's shock, he not only convinces the guests that the girl was his wife for many years, but also that she is pregnant. On the other hand, Chulbul Pandey approaches the bridegroom (Akshay Kumar) and demands 1 crore as dowry. The chief minister intervenes and pays off all the pending bills of Pappi & Co. so much so that they are guilt-free. Pappi gains faith in Aaj Ka Milaada and trashes his previous partners in crime. Meanwhile, Chulbul Pandey is shown to frequently visit the Chief Minister's residence with his daughter Reena (Zarina Wahab), who is in love with him. Unknown to him, she is actually an informer of the opposition party Indigo Force headed by Majnu's father-in-law Mulraj (Mithun Chakraborty). Majnu and Pappi, who are still angry at Aaj Ka Milaada for destroying their business, join hands with Mulraj and hatch a plan that will bring about the downfall of the Chief Minister.
